“Sophie’s professionalism, focus, work ethic, and imagination make her a delight to have in the rehearsal room. She is enormously curious and sets a high bar for herself. When you add in that glorious voice, well - she’s an asset to any production.

Sophie is a gifted singer, an intelligent artist and a hard worker. One of her greatest attributes is her courage in the face of tough choices, not talking the easy path but taking the path that will yield the most reward. I have seen her make those choices repeatedly, and as she has, her ability to produce work that is of high quality and uniquely hers has grown as well. She is kind and respectful, supportive of those around her and always grateful. For all of these reasons, it feels to me that if anyone has a shot at a career in this industry, Sophie does.

Sophie Pugh was a bright spot in this show, singing powerful solos such as “I’m Not Afraid”. Pugh had an incredibly dynamic voice that was also very expressive of the emotions within each song.
